Aleksandra Strykier (Psycholoog)

Hello,

My name is Aleksandra, and I recently relocated to the Netherlands. I work in English and Polish. I graduated with an MSc in Psychology, specializing in Clinical Psychology, from SWPS University in Warsaw and in Clinical Sexology from the Medical University of Warsaw. I am a certified sex educator and registered with NIP.

I gained experience at the Sexology Clinic of the Nowowiejski Hospital in Warsaw, the Bródnowski Hospital, and through my private consulting practice. Additionally, I have worked with parents, children, and youth in school and kindergarten settings.

I have been interviewed by major Polish media outlets and have been involved in volunteer work, including with the Volunteer Equality Foundation (Fundacja Wolontariat Równości) and the Ponton Sex Educators Group. I have completed training in Solution-Focused Therapy and also utilize cognitive-behavioral techniques.

I am currently in training for couples therapy at The Gottman Institute and conduct parenting consultations grounded in the principles of attachment parenting. I work under the supervision of certified supervisors.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing developmental crises, difficulties in relationships, sexual and gender identity challenges, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and difficulties in the area of sexuality. I also work with couples in crisis, couples who want to develop their communication skills, queer couples, and multicultural couples.

I provide psychological support for LGBTQ+ individuals and their families, as well as for individuals experiencing difficulties in relationships with loved ones. I offer parental consultations for parents of children aged 0–6 years in the spirit of attachment parenting, therapy for same-sex and heterosexual couples, and sexological therapy.
